Saturday, March 13, 2010 Bark for Life Fido Fest Calling all dog lovers! Bring your pooch to this special event that will benefit the American Cancer Society's Annual Relay for Life. Participants will walk themed laps around the park with their dogs while earning raffle tickets and a doggie bandana for participating. Area vendors will be on-hand and refreshments, kids' games, pet competitions, a silent auction and other pet friendly activities will be available Opportunities to Participate Participant - Register you & your dog (s) to walk in themed laps throughout the park. Saturday, March 20, 2010 18th Annual Mutt Strut Event The Humane Society of Pinellas (HSP) will be holding our Mutt Strut on beautiful Honeymoon Island State Park in Dunedin, FL from 10 am until 3 pm. This event offers a fun and relaxed environment with plenty of vendors, games and hundreds of participants for the mile long strut along the Osprey Trail at noon on the nose led by our shelter mascots! This annual event is our largest fundraiser because of your support. Funds are raised through the pledges from individuals and "packs" of participants, vendors and sponsorships. Prizes will be awarded to those that raise the most money as an individual and as a pack, plus the first 400 walkers will receive a Wag Bag filled with goodies. Raise a mere $25 per individual and receive an event T-Shirt for yourself and bandana for your pet!
